Applying Lean Startup principles in practice
The most difficult part of Lean seems to be applying it in practice - especially to overcome our own inherent focus & bias, and focus on running experiments in an effective manner.
How can we best improve our processes? Should we work with an external advisor, team up with another startup and do frequent meetings? Are tools like Lean Launchlab, Lean Canvas & co useful for this purpose?

Awesome idea. I've noticed how people gravitate to their comfort zone when applying the Lean Startup learning loop. In my last startup, it took me a while to realise I was testing the wrong things - I had a focus on validating customer acquisition, but it turned out I should have been focused on retention. I've seen programmers zoom in to specific features too soon, and designers emphasis the light-weight prototypes without checking the customer had budget to solve the problem in the first place.
A bunch of us meet us fortnightly for a one-hour peer-advisory session, which helps here. We could share how that works...
